Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions for Working Professionals Programs, the Associate Director of Admissions for Working Professionals leads recruitment and admissions for the Professional MBA and Executive MBA and supports admissions planning and execution for the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).

The role develops distinct program strategies with the Senior Associate Director, shares accountability for enrollment and tuition-revenue results, and leads recruitment marketing and candidate communications to deliver a high-touch admissions experience for working professionals and executives.

This position requires travel, evening, and weekend work.

Essential Functions

Develops and executes program-specific recruitment and enrollment strategies with the Senior Associate Director, sharing accountability for enrollment targets and tuition-revenue growth. Establishes measurable pipeline, conversion, and yield goals; regularly reviews results and adjusts priorities to address shortfalls and growth opportunities.

Leads the Professional MBA and Executive MBA admissions lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment, providing personalized advising, holistic application review, interviews, and admissions recommendations that support sound decisions, candidate conversion, yield, and reduced melt.

Builds qualified prospect pipelines and organizational referrals through employer, professional-association, alumni, and student partnerships and recruitment and yield events. Aligns engagement with faculty, program directors, Career Services, and Student Success to connect candidates with program value and outcomes.

Leads coordination and execution of program-wide recruitment marketing with Marketing and Communications and program stakeholders. Develops differentiated positioning and compelling messages; coordinates campaign calendars, vendors, deliverables, and stakeholder feedback to ensure timely, accurate, brand-aligned outreach supporting enrollment and revenue goals.

Owns development, management, editing, and optimization of program-specific email drip campaigns and candidate communication sequences. Uses segmentation, personalization, timing, testing, performance measurement, and timely campaign and event follow-up to strengthen engagement and conversion throughout the admissions lifecycle.

Supports admissions planning, execution, and the inaugural recruitment cycle for the DBA launch planned for fall 2027, coordinating with program and University partners to align candidate engagement, marketing, and admissions activity.

Delivers complex, cross-functional recruitment, enrollment, and new-program projects through clear objectives, milestones, ownership, and success measures. Coordinates contributors without direct authority, manages dependencies and resource risks, and escalates issues with recommended solutions to ensure timely results.

Ensures accurate CRM records, responsive candidate service, and timely admissions workflows. Analyzes pipeline, conversion, yield, melt, source, event, and campaign performance; identifies barriers and implements and evaluates improvements with partners to advance enrollment and tuition-revenue results.

Supports broader graduate admissions priorities, recruitment budgets, and travel and resource planning.

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, enrollment management, graduate recruitment, employer relations, account management, business development, or a related field.

Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills

Demonstrated ability to develop enrollment, recruitment, business-development, or engagement strategies grounded in data, market insight, and stakeholder input and translate them into coordinated plans and measurable outcomes.

Demonstrated record of innovation through implementing recruitment, partnership, marketing, process, or candidate engagement initiatives, measuring results, and refining or discontinuing approaches based on evidence.

Strong project management background, including leading complex initiatives, establishing milestones and ownership, managing competing priorities, risks, and dependencies, coordinating contributors, and delivering work on schedule.

Ability to analyze pipeline, conversion, yield, source, event, campaign, and other enrollment data and translate findings into clear recommendations and action.

Excellent written, oral, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content and style for prospective students, executives, faculty, administrators, and employers.

Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment in complex situations. Ability to build trusted relationships with distinguished faculty, program directors, Career Services, senior administrators, and external partners.

Ability to lead through influence, align stakeholders with differing priorities, communicate candidly and respectfully, and maintain accountability for shared outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree.

Graduate business admissions experience.
