Summary:
We are looking for a talented and energetic Associate Director of Business Intelligence to join our team and drive the advancement of our business intelligence strategies and capabilities in support of SYFOVRE. The Associate Director of Business Intelligence will be accountable for partnering closely U.S. commercial teams to generate market-specific insights gathered from primary market research, secondary data analysis, and competitive intelligence to create integrated and actionable insights for key customer/stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a commercial insights position within a biotech or pharmaceutical company. The Associate Director will report into the Senior Director of Business Intelligence for SYFOVRE and will serve as a key member of the SYFOVRE team to drive insights and market knowledge that will be critical to continue driving the success of the brand.

Qualifications
B.S. degree required (business, biology, or medicine-related degree preferred). Advanced Degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD) preferred
At least 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medtech industry (client-side experience preferred)
Must Haves:
Expertise in qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies
Working knowledge of secondary data sources and experience leveraging secondary data to generate insights
Demonstrated project and vendor management skills
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence without authority
Strategic and Analytical Mindset
Strong problem solving/framing abilities
Excellent communication skills; able to create simplicity from complexity, expert narrative development/storytelling
Managerial courage: ability to challenge and persuade
Proven ability to engage with business unit and executive leadership
Preferred
Experience in retina
Experience with buy-and-bill product
Experience in Competitive Intelligence, Commercial Assessments and/or Consulting
