Our School of Health and Social Wellbeing have 3 fantastic opportunities for collaborative and ambitious academic leaders to join our School on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
As individuals and as members of a high performing team, you will have a clear remit to leave projects that enhance the student experience, strengthen academic quality and drive innovation across our academic portfolio alongside managing our business-as-usual activity related to academic standards and quality. These posts sit within the School leadership team and offer a unique opportunity to shape strategic priorities and deliver meaningful change within the portfolio area and broader school context.
All aspects of the job description will be present across all of the roles, but each will have a different emphasis. This is indicated in the likely responsibilities below.
Role 1 (1.0 FTE) likely responsibilities include:
PSRB Business
Programme/ Curriculum review, development and revalidation
Assessment governance including exam boards
Supporting the delivery of strategy for key KPIs for the School and University
Supporting Assessment and feedback strategy
Academic Enhancement Projects
External Examiner Engagement
SBoS engagement and administration
Role 2 (1.0 FTE) likely responsibilities include:
PSRB Business
Programme/ Curriculum review, development and revalidation
Assessment governance including exam boards
Supporting the delivery of strategy for key KPIs for the School and University
Supporting Assessment and feedback strategy
Academic Enhancement Projects
Supporting Student voice and representation initiatives
Role 3 (0.4 FTE) likely responsibilities include:
Programme/ Curriculum review, development and revalidation
Supporting the delivery of strategy for key KPIs for the School and University
Academic Enhancement Projects
Staff Training and Development
Programme Leader engagement
Accredited Learning
Candidates will be offered a preference against each role, but the panel will ultimately determine how the team is constructed and the relevant people manager(s) will direct the priorities for each post holder.

We have three fixed term posts available for 12 months, 2 are full time and 1 is 0.4FTE.
These posts may be available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
Salary offers are made in line with the University's salary assessment guidelines, reflecting your relevant skills and experience in parity with colleagues.
