Position Function:
The Associate Dean reports directly to the Dean and is responsible for providing leadership, management, and accountability for the academic and student affairs areas of the College. The main areas of responsibility include oversight of the CAAD academic affairs needs such as student requests, concerns, and petitions, as well as faculty and student needs such as mentoring, recruitment, student guidance, and support with the policies and procedures related to student and academic needs. The Associate Dean serves as the liaison between the university administration and the college, and will be responsible for providing essential support for necessary university reporting on academic outcomes, including institutional effectiveness, academic program performance reporting, student success, and other related areas. The Associate Dean also works in conjunction with the directors and department heads in the College in providing support for our faculty and students within the academic mission of the college. This will be a 50/50 job share with the applicant''s home unit in the College of Architecture, Art, and Design.
Salary Grade: UC
For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.
