    Job Summary
     
    The Associate Dealer Relationship Manager supports Together Credit Union’s indirect lending and Dealer Channel initiatives by assisting with dealer engagement, operational coordination, and relationship-building activities. This role exists to strengthen dealer partnerships, support channel performance, and provide a foundation for effective dealer relationship management
     
    Job Responsibilities 
    The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibilities required of this position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills.     • Serves as a point of contact for franchised and independent automobile dealerships and assist with ongoing relationship management activities 
    • Coordinates dealer communications related to loan programs, funding, documentation requirements, operational updates, and day-to-day support needs 
    • Assists with dealer onboarding activities, program education, and implementation of indirect lending processes and procedures 
    • Maintains accurate dealer records, contact information, activity logs, and follow-up documentation within customer relationship management systems 
    • Partners with internal teams, including Underwriting, Funding, Loan Processing, Credit Risk, Retail, Branch Operations, and Marketing to resolve dealer-related issues and support operational effectiveness 
    • Supports dealer visits, business reviews, training sessions, and relationship meetings to strengthen dealer engagement and communication 
    • Monitors dealer portfolio performance and assist with the preparation of scorecards, operational reporting, and key performance metrics 
    • Analyzes and tracks indirect lending performance indicators, including funding volume, approval-to-book ratios, funding timelines, portfolio quality, and dealer production trends 
    • Contributes to Dealer Channel initiatives, projects, and process improvement efforts that support growth, operational efficiency, and dealer satisfaction
     
    Minimum Required Qualifications 
    An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. 
     
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1+ years of experience in banking, consumer loans, indirect lending, sales, and/or relevant transferable experience 
     
    Preferred Qualifications 
     
    • Degree or specialized training in automotive finance, business, marketing, consumer lending or related field
    • 1+ years of relationship management experience, direct people leadership (supervisory), and/or informal leadership experience
    • Experience working in a credit union, banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environment 
     
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    A representation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.  
     
    • Knowledge of indirect automotive lending, consumer finance principles, credit union lending practices, and related loan funding processes
    • Knowledge of dealership operations, including sales, finance and insurance (F&I), funding activities, and operational workflows
    • Skilled in building and maintaining effective business relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
    • Skilled in communicating program requirements, operational updates, and business information clearly and professionally through verbal and written communication
    • Skilled in analyzing data, performance metrics, and operational reports to identify trends, monitor results, and support decision-making
    • Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
    • Ability to collaborate across functional teams to resolve issues, coordinate activities, and support operational effectiveness
    • Ability to learn, apply, and explain lending programs, procedures, documentation requirements, and related processes to internal and external audiences
    • Ability to identify problems, evaluate options, and recommend solutions that support dealer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business objectives
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while contributing to projects, process improvements, and initiatives that support organizational growth
    • Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and activity tracking

    Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job’s functions.
     
    • Flexible remote or hybrid (combination of remote & onsite) work environment; requires regular use of online tools, systems, and collaboration platforms
    • General office setting when working onsite
    • Occasional travel to branch locations, vendor sites, or other business-related locations
    • Attendance at offsite meetings, events, or conferences as needed
