    Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel

    Location: Wendell, North Carolina (Onsite)

    Company Overview:

    Join a leading South Korean agricultural machinery manufacturer, established in 1947 and headquartered in Daegu, South Korea. The product line includes tractors, combine harvesters, all-terrain utility vehicles, and engines.

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Corporate Counsel with 2 to 5 years of experience in legal compliance, corporate governance, and business law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.
    • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate various business agreements, including dealership and supply contracts.
    • Oversee corporate governance practices and ensure adherence to best practices.
    • Advise on risk management related to regulatory and compliance issues in the manufacturing industry.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, finance, operations) to mitigate legal risks.
    • Stay informed on legal developments and industry trends.
    • Support dispute resolution and litigation management as needed.
    • Assist with other legal functions and special projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
    • Licensed to practice law in one or more U.S. states.
    • 2 to 5 years of legal experience focused on corporate and compliance matters, preferably in manufacturing or auto industries.
    • Bilingual in English and Korean languages preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
