Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal

We"re seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to be a pivotal force in shaping the future of cloud security at Amazon Web Services. In this role, you"ll collaborate with security teams, translating complex legal challenges into innovative solutions that protect and empower our global customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on cloud security, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters - drawing on a comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks to navigate complex and evolving requirements
• Advise security teams during strategic customer engagements, media interactions, and interactions with security researchers
• Serve as a subject matter expert on security commitments in cloud enterprise agreements
• Lead negotiations for technology, intellectual property and data licensing across inbound and outbound initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in commercial agreements and intellectual property transactions
• Support the global security response team with nuanced legal perspectives, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving capabilities in ambiguous scenarios
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Uphold a deep commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity across all legal and business engagements
