Description

Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking an experienced Compensation Advisor for a 12 month contract assignment. This role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates near: Charlotte, NC; Iselin, NJ; Frisco, TX or Chicago, IL.  

The Compensation Advisor participates in compensation program design, compensation plan management and compensation evaluation and analysis. Under general supervision, this job is responsible for supporting management in developing and administering effective compensation programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Drafts salary and incentive structure designs and pay policies in accordance with the organization’s reward strategy.
  • Administers changes to base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, deferred compensation, sales compensation, etc. as directed by management.
  • Conducts preliminary job analysis, job evaluations and salary increase reviews to ensure employees receive the appropriate compensation for their position.
  • Participates in analyses and studies to support management in developing and administering effective compensation and benefits programs in accordance with the organization's reward strategy.
  • Participates in salary surveys and gathers market data for salary review and planning.
  • Prepares reports for the purpose of providing written support and conveying information to management regarding policy and compensation interpretation as well as in the annual salary planning process.
  • Assists in the planning of new and revised compensation programs so that employees receive the appropriate compensation for their position.
  • Reviews the company's compensation programs to ensure they are in accordance with established policies.
Requirements
  • University degree preferred
  • 2+ years of work experience required; 3+ years preferred
Pay Rate- $37.71- $39.71/hour
