    A well-established small animal clinic in Houston is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a patient-focused team delivering high-quality preventive, medical, and urgent care services. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor who values compassionate medicine, enjoys hands-on case management, and wants to grow clinically in a supportive and progressive practice environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine physical exams, diagnostics, and medical evaluations
    • Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
    • Perform medical and soft-tissue procedures
    • Provide dental and preventive care services
    • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
    • Maintain accurate and complete medical records
    • Collaborate with technicians and support staff
    • Manage a varied caseload including urgent and emergency cases

    Qualifications

    • DVM or equivalent degree
    • Eligible for licensure in Texas
    • Experience in small-animal medicine preferred
    • Comfort with urgent or same-day cases is a plus
    • Strong communication and clinical judgment
    • Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
