Associate Civil Engineer

We are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources department. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Associates play a vital role in achieving the company's goals while supporting business development.

Salary Range: $83,200 - $133,200

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities
• Produce plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
• Assist with engineering reports, alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans
• Perform hydraulic modeling for water and sewer systems
• Coordinate engineering tasks during project construction, including permitting, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review
• Design mechanical projects such as pump and lift stations, wells, and treatment facilities, including site grading plans
• Support multiple design teams and Project Managers

Requirements:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D is a plus
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with two years of related project experience
• Possession of PE license
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects
• Knowledge of planning and construction documents
• Ability to read and adapt to local agency standards and communicate effectively with agencies and clients
