Associate Civil Engineer
We are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources department. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for individuals who are committed to continuous learning and expanding their expertise. Associates play a vital role in achieving the company's goals while supporting business development.
Salary Range: $83,200 - $133,200
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities
- Produce plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects
- Assist with engineering reports, alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans
- Perform hydraulic modeling for water and sewer systems
- Coordinate engineering tasks during project construction, including permitting, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review
- Design mechanical projects such as pump and lift stations, wells, and treatment facilities, including site grading plans
- Support multiple design teams and Project Managers
Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D is a plus
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with two years of related project experience
- Possession of PE license
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects
- Knowledge of planning and construction documents
- Ability to read and adapt to local agency standards and communicate effectively with agencies and clients
