Title: Associate / AVP, Project Finance Relationship Manager

Office Status: Hybrid New York, NY

Base Salary: Up to $125k + Discretionary Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time front office opportunity within the Project Finance group of a well-established international bank, supporting senior relationship managers and team leadership across client development, deal execution, and portfolio management. The role offers meaningful exposure to the full project finance transaction lifecycle from pitch and due diligence through credit approval and post-disbursement monitoring across infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable finance sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support senior relationship managers and team leadership in client development activities including market research on prospective clients, drafting pitch books, and evaluating new transactions
  • Perform due diligence analysis on project finance transactions;review consultant reports and liaise with external advisors throughout the deal process
  • Build, review, and revise detailed financial models for various transactions;conduct sensitivity analyses, back-tests, and forward-looking forecasts based on appropriate assumptions
  • Prepare primary content for credit rating applications and credit line requests
  • Assist with KYC due diligence in compliance with internal bank requirements;prepare KYC reviews and reports with completeness and accuracy
  • Manage and maintain all required internal systems for transaction tracking and compliance
  • Conduct post-disbursement portfolio reviews including credit rating analysis, loan classification, and financial covenant monitoring
  • Identify and escalate emerging issues within the allocated portfolio;prepare proposals for waivers, amendments, and consents as applicable
  • Provide monthly and quarterly portfolio reports to the Portfolio Manager on assigned relationship manager portfolios
  • Maintain organized credit files and ensure all required documentation and covenants are uploaded and current
  • Act as a risk manager within daily responsibilities, demonstrating risk awareness and strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and controls
