The attorney will work under senior attorneys, engaging in legal research, drafting, discovery, and client interaction, with increasing responsibilities as proficiency develops.Responsibilities Conduct in-depth legal research on employment and procedural issues.Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.Prepare mediation briefs, trial briefs, and pre-trial filings.Draft, review, and respond to written discovery.Summarize depositions and analyze evidence.Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates.Appear in court, mediations, and depositions as required.Manage a portfolio of employment law cases.Coordinate with paralegals and support staff for file management.Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school.Active membership (or pending admission) with the California State Bar.0-2 years of relevant litigation or employment law experience preferred.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Familiarity with discovery processes and California civil procedure.Proficiency with Lexis+ AI, Westlaw, and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
