    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and passionate Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of employment litigation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in employment law and be comfortable managing cases independently, while also working collaboratively with a team of experienced attorneys.     Key Responsibilities

    • Manage a caseload of employment law matters from intake through resolution

    • Conduct legal research and draft complaints, discovery, motions, and legal briefs

    • Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

    • Advise clients on their legal rights, risks, and potential outcomes

    • Participate in strategy development with partners and team members

    • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings

    • Second or third-chair jury trial and arbitrations


    Key Skills & Qualifications

    • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar

    • 1-3 years of employment law litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side

    • Proficiency in managing wrongful termination and sexual harassment litigation

    • Strong knowledge of California 91604, Los Angeles, California, United States employment laws and civil procedure both on a state and federal level

    • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

    • Effective oral advocacy and client communication abilities

    • Experience conducting and responding to discovery, taking depositions, and preparing for trial

    • Strong organizational and case management skills with attention to detail

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

    • Commitment to representing employees with integrity and empathy


    Preferred Attributes

    • Previous experience in wrongful termination and sexual harassment litigation

    • Comfortable using case management software and legal research tools

    • Proactive, driven, and passionate about employee advocacy

    • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and mission-driven environment
