Job Title: Litigation Associate

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days in-office/3 remote

Salary: $145,000-$168,000 + bonus potential

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a respected midsize law firm seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience who is looking to take ownership of substantive casework, contribute to case strategy, and continue developing within a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment. The firm offers a clear path for long-term growth, strong bonus potential, and exposure to sophisticated litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage substantive litigation matters from inception through resolution, including case strategy, fact development, and day-to-day case management

  • Handle all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery, document review, depositions, and factual investigation

  • Draft pleadings, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related filings

  • Conduct legal research and develop strategic recommendations based on case facts and applicable law

  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams while also managing matters independently with strong judgment and advocacy skills

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Washington State Bar

  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Experience managing fact discovery, depositions, and motion practice

  • Ability to independently manage substantive case responsibilities while working effectively as part of a team

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Prior judicial clerkship experience preferred, but not required
