    Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

    Location

    This is an on-site position based in San Bernardino, CA. Candidates should be local or within a realistic commuting distance, especially while getting started with the firm.

    Note

    Must have an active California law license in good standing and litigation experience or a strong litigation-focused background. Probate, trust administration, or trust litigation experience is preferred but not required.

    Job Description

    • Handle a primary workload of civil litigation matters, with probate and trust matters as needed.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement documents, correspondence, and legal memoranda.
    • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings.
    • Manage discovery, case deadlines, client communications, and matter strategy.
    • Conduct legal research and analyze factual and legal issues.
    • Assist with trial preparation, mediation preparation, and case resolution strategy.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and third parties.
    • Work closely with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff on active matters.
    • Manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail, deadlines, and client service.

    Qualifications

    • J.D. from an accredited law school.
    • Active California law license in good standing.
    • 1+ years of attorney experience preferred.
    • Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
    • Probate, trust administration, trust litigation, or estate-related experience is a plus.
    • Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
    • Comfortable working in an on-site office environment.
    • Professional, responsive, organized, and able to manage deadlines independently.
