I am working directly with the leadership of a well-established Michigan law firm that is adding an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to its Southfield office. The Associate Attorney can come from any litigation background and should be interested in building or expanding a professional liability insurance defense practice. The role is primarily on-site in Southfield, with occasional remote flexibility.

Compensation is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with performance-based bonus potential.

What We Need

- 3–5 years of litigation experience

- Interest in moving into or growing a professional liability insurance defense practice

- Strong legal research, writing, analysis, and oral advocacy

- Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents

- Meeting deadlines, working independently, and collaborating in a fast-paced team

- A detail-oriented, motivated approach with a strong commitment to client service
