Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury litigation, with asbestos and/or mesothelioma experience strongly preferred. This position involves representing individuals and families in complex, high-value matters, managing cases from inception through resolution, and providing compassionate and strategic advocacy throughout the litigation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent plaintiffs in personal injury, asbestos, mesothelioma, and wrongful death matters.
Manage cases from inception through settlement, trial, or other resolution.
Conduct client interviews, factual investigations, discovery, and case evaluations.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings.
Develop case strategy and prepare matters for trial.
Work with medical professionals, expert witnesses, and other consultants to build strong cases.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear, consistent communication throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage a caseload.
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
Personal Injury, Asbestos, Mesothelioma, Mass Tort, or other complex litigation experience strongly preferred.
Proven ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
Deposition and trial experience preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, research, writing, and advocacy skills.
Compassionate, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed in CA in good standing.
