Associate Attorney - Personal Injury

Collaborate with Senior Attorneys to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positions. • Analyze evidence including medical records and investigative findings, interview clients and witnesses, consult field experts, and research statutes and case law
• Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and other correspondence
• Collaborate with Senior Attorneys to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positions
• Resolve cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client through mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Participate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaigns

Qualifications:

• Active member of NC Bar Association and SC Bar Association required
• Two (2) or more years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation or litigation preferred
• A willingness to learn and grow with our nationally recognized attorneys is a must
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
• Proficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking required
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required
• Experience with SmartAdvocate Software a plus
• Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required
