Purpose:
The Senior Associate Attorney will work in our firm west coast foreclosure department, and will primarily manage judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage cases from inception to completion
- Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
- Draft court pleadings, defense of motions
- Handle discovery
- Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
- Other duties and special projects as needed
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree
- Juris Doctor from accredited law school
- Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law
- Admission to practice law in the states of Oregon and/or Washington.
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
Ability to manage and prioritize your caseload
