A full-time Associate Attorney position is available in the field of civil litigation, with a focus on Automobile and Premises Liability matters. Position Summary

The role offers a dynamic mix of independent case handling and collaborative teamwork. You will:

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop case strategies through collaboration with clients, experts, and colleagues.
• Maintain regular written and verbal communication with clients regarding case status.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support litigation positions.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to ensure effective case management.

Key Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• 2–10 years of experience in Automobile and Premises Liability litigation (defense experience preferred).
• Strong advocacy skills with proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Ability to respond to discovery requests and manage all aspects of discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions (fact and expert witnesses).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively.
