Civil Litigation Defense AttorneyOur client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience who is looking to build and expand their practice in a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive environment.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing civil litigation matters from inception through resolution and be eager to take on meaningful responsibility. This role offers direct mentorship from experienced partners, immediate client interaction, and the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload based on experience level.You will work closely with a partner while developing into a lead handling attorney, managing all aspects of litigation including court appearances, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, pre-trial strategy, trial preparation, and client reporting. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in and gain valuable trial experience.Key ResponsibilitiesManage civil litigation defense matters from intake through trial or resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documentsConduct and defend depositionsHandle court appearances, hearings, and mediationsDevelop case strategy and prepare cases for trialCommunicate regularly with clients and provide case updatesWork collaboratively with partners and support staff to drive case outcomesRequirements2–5 years of civil litigation experience (defense experience preferred)Active and in good standing with the State Bar of NevadaAdmission to the State Bar of California is a strong plusExperience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practiceStrong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to independently manage cases and deadlinesTrial preparation experience preferred; courtroom experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and client service mindsetBenefitsBonus & full benefitsNO visa sponsorship#J-18808-Ljbffr
