Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with at least one year of civil litigation experience to join our Jacksonville team.

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced attorneys on a variety of civil defense litigation matters while continuing to develop your skills and take on greater responsibility.

Responsibilities include:
Handle civil litigation matters through various stages of the litigation process.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Prepare and respond to written discovery.
Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case management and strategy.
Manage assigned matters independently while benefiting from an experienced and supportive team.

Qualifications:
Active Florida Bar license.
1+ years of civil litigation experience.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Interest in continued professional development and hands-on litigation experience.
Prior insurance defense experience is a plus, but attorneys with other civil litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
