    Description

    Pay: $145,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

    Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Greenwich, Connecticut, offering the flexibility to split your time between the office and remote work while collaborating with an experienced litigation team.

    Note: Applicants must be admitted to the Connecticut Bar and have at least 3+ years of employment litigation experience. Experience handling complex civil litigation matters is highly preferred.

    Job Description

    • Represent employers and business clients in employment litigation and complex civil litigation matters.
    • Handle cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
    • Draft and argue dispositive motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
    • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies that achieve favorable client outcomes.
    • Defend clients in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, restrictive covenants, wrongful termination, and related employment claims.
    • Manage discovery, including document production, written discovery, and witness preparation.
    • Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences.
    • Build strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
    • Contribute to business development and maintain exceptional client service.

    Qualifications

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
    • Active Connecticut Bar admission required.
    • 3+ years of employment litigation experience.
    • Experience handling complex civil litigation matters.
    • Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
    • Experience managing cases independently while balancing multiple deadlines.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
    • Trial experience is a plus.
