General Liability Attorney Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven General Liability Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling general liability matters and strong litigation skills. This position involves managing a diverse caseload, developing effective case strategies, representing clients throughout the litigation process, and working toward favorable resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in general liability and civil litigation matters.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Handle matters involving premises liability, personal injury, property damage, and other general liability claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability, damages, and potential exposure.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
• Negotiate settlements and work to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain an organized caseload and meet applicable deadlines and court requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in General Liability or Civil Litigation preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong negotiation, communication, research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice to clients.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in CA in good standing.
