What You'll Be Responsible For
Manage an active caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, negotiations, and related proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal correspondence, and case strategy
Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients
Partner closely with legal support teams to ensure efficient case progression
Participate in litigation planning, case reviews, and team initiatives
Navigate sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment
Maintain organization, meet deadlines, and drive case movement

Ideal Background
Active North Carolina Bar admission
2+ years of litigation experience (family law strongly preferred)
Experience appearing in court and advocating directly for clients
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Comfortable managing deadlines and balancing multiple active matters
Experience with mediation, negotiation, or settlement strategy preferred
Ability to work collaboratively while independently driving outcomes
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $80,000–$130,000 DOE
