About Stone Arch Law Office:

At Stone Arch Law Office, we believe estate planning and probate don’t have to be cold, rigid, or overwhelming. We operate as a highly structured, process-driven firm where our core values drive every client interaction and internal collaboration.  We are looking for an Associate Attorney who doesn’t just check legal boxes, but actively lives these values in their daily practice.

How Our Core Values Drive Your Day-to-Day:

We are compassionate with clients and each other.

  • In daily practice:  You will guide anxious families through sensitive beneficiary dynamics and interpret complex wills and trusts with patience and empathy.
  • Internally:  You will collaborate warmly with our Paralegal and Legal Assistant staff, recognizing that a supportive team environment is essential for collective success.

We are high-level educators.

  • In daily practice:  You will lead clients through Initial, Review, and Signing meetings using clear, accessible terminology that empowers rather than overwhelms them.
  • In business development:  You will design and author highly customized legal plans (wills, trusts, deeds), and actively attend company-hosted educational and marketing events to demystify law for the community.

We provide enthusiastic and responsive service.

  • In daily practice:  You will respect our clients’ peace of mind by adhering strictly to our firm’s eight (8) business hour response standard for inquiries.
  • In business development:  You will bring energy as a brand ambassador, building dynamic referral pipelines with financial advisors and actively participating in networking groups like BNI.

We are systems people.

  • In daily practice:  You will thrive within a process-driven environment, meticulously tracking billable time, managing receivables, and entering detailed notes into client files immediately following interactions to keep the internal team aligned.
  • In legal execution:  You will utilize firm templates and maintain sharp attention to detail to meet our strict quality standards.

We can laugh.

  • In daily practice:  You will bring a lighthearted attitude to the office every single day.  While the legal issues we handle are serious, we believe navigating them with warmth and good humor makes the experience better for both our clients and our team.

Qualifications & Skills:

We are seeking a professional who brings a natural alignment to our structured environment, paired with the legal acumen required to advocate fiercely for our clients.

  • Education & Licensure
    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active, unrestricted license to practice law in the State of Minnesota.
  • Experience
    • Two to five (2-5) years of dedicated estate planning and/or probate experience.
    • Highly Valued: Prior experience in dispute resolution, elder law, Medical Assistance (MA) benefits, special needs planning, litigation, business succession, or real estate.
  • Value Alignment
    • Emotional Intelligence: Strong ability to connect compassionately with grieving or anxious families.
    • Communication Mastery: A passion for education and a proven ability to translate complex statutory legal structures into universal, simple language.
    • Systems Thinking: A proactive preference for structure, workflows, and strict communication standards.

Compensation, Benefits & Peace of Mind:

Because we are compassionate with each other, we believe in taking care of our team members’ health, futures, and work-life harmony.  Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
