Senior Litigation Attorney - Los Angeles, CALocation: Los Angeles, CAEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewA growing litigation defense practice is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney with extensive insurance defense experience to join its Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record handling complex litigation matters through trial and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.Handle cases involving:Personal Injury DefensePremises LiabilityProducts LiabilityTransportation LitigationHabitability DefenseDevelop litigation strategy and oversee case progression.Draft and argue substantive motions.Conduct and defend depositions.Attend court appearances, mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitrations.Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings.Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with litigation support staff.Maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic legal guidance.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.Active California Bar membership in good standing.U.S. work authorization required.10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.Trial experience strongly preferred.Significant experience in one or more of the following:Personal Injury DefensePremises LiabilityProducts LiabilityTransportation LitigationHabitability DefenseExcellent courtroom, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $170,000 - $200,000 annually (DOE)Performance-based bonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits packageRetirement savings planStudent loan assistanceLeadership and advancement opportunitiesPaid parking or transportation assistance#J-18808-Ljbffr
