Associate Attorney

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an Of Counsel or Associate Attorney with real estate finance experience. If you are looking to grow in a collaborative environment with clear paths for professional development and advancement, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Real Estate Transactions:

• Manage financing, acquisitions, and dispositions across diverse asset classes such as retail, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and hospitality.
• Engage in joint ventures that involve institutional equity investors and developers, focusing on multifamily, industrial, cold storage, and other commercial properties.

Real Estate Financing:

• Draft and negotiate loan documents, conduct due diligence for real estate closings, and handle recapitalizations and joint ventures.
• Represent institutional borrowers in various financing scenarios, including construction and stabilized real estate, covering debt fund, structured finance, and CMBS-style transactions, particularly those with mezzanine financing and other capital structures.

Qualifications:

• For the associate role: 4-6 years of experience in real estate financing and strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• For the Of Counsel role: 6+ years of in-depth experience in real estate finance and joint ventures.
• Familiarity with the pace of a sophisticated law firm is highly desirable.
• Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
