Location: Charleston, South Carolina. This is an on-site opportunity for an attorney who values working closely with colleagues and clients in a collaborative office environment.
Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina and have at least 1 year of directly relevant creditors' rights law experience. Experience involving bankruptcy, foreclosure, commercial collections, creditor representation, or closely related lender-side litigation is highly relevant.

Job Description
- Represent financial services providers and other business clients in creditors' rights matters
- Handle matters involving foreclosure, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, real property, and regulatory compliance
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis
- Appear in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts as appropriate
- Manage assigned matters while coordinating effectively with attorneys and support staff
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties
- Contribute to a collaborative practice focused on excellent client service and efficient case management
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Bar license required
- 1+ year of creditors' rights law experience required
- Civil litigation experience strongly valued
- Bankruptcy, foreclosure, commercial collections, creditor representation, or lender-side litigation experience preferred
- Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills
- Courtroom experience preferred
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working collaboratively with a team
- North Carolina Bar admission is a plus
