Position Type: Full Time
Associate Attorney to manage legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies within our rapidly growing Creditors' Rights law practice. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality representation, demonstrates strong ownership, and excels in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This position is fully remote, with a hybrid component requiring periodic court appearances and onsite meetings within the state of Georgia.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication in all casework.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload, including review, analysis, and strategic direction on legal matters.
  • Provide legal recommendations addressing regulatory and litigation risks.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve efficient and compliant case resolutions.
  • Travel to various courts within Georgia for hearings, mediation, and representation when necessary.
  • Collaborate with and report case activity/results to the Managing Attorney.
  • Participate in special assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia (required).
  • 0-3 years of experience in:
    • Bankruptcy
    • Collections
    • Civil litigation
    • Court proceedings related to creditors' rights
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply case law.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • License to practice law in additional states within firm footprint: GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH
  • Passing score on UBE
  • Experience in creditors' rights, collections, or bankruptcy litigation
Must-Haves
  • Ability to work in a fully remote environment
  • Ability to attend in-person court hearings and onsite meetings in Georgia when required
