    Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney to join their Project Finance group! This team is recognized for its strategic focus and cutting-edge work in renewable energy and energy transition projects. The group collaborates seamlessly across practices and offices worldwide, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support senior associates and partners in advising project developers, lenders, and investors on renewable energy and energy transition projects.
    • Work on projects involving solar, wind, geothermal, battery storage, carbon capture, renewable natural gas, green hydrogen, and electric transmission.
    • Provide counsel on complex financings and M&A transactions related to renewable energy incentives and federal tax law.

    Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of legal experience as a tax attorney.
    • Familiarity with renewable energy incentives, including tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act, and partnership taxation.
    • Strong academic credentials.
    • LLM in taxation preferred.
