Position: Associate Attorney
Location: Remote. You must live in the Boca Raton, FL area.
Court: Occasional trips to the local Boca Raton-area courthouse as needed
Compensation: $90,000 plus full benefits
Start Date: ASAP
Bar Admission: Active Florida Bar license in good standing
Experience: 1 to 2 years of litigation or negotiation experience

About the Role

This role is for an attorney who wants to make a difference without the pressure of billable hours, business development, or partnership politics. You’ll work from home with a consistent caseload, a full remote setup, and structured mentorship from experienced attorneys. When a matter calls for it, you’ll make a short trip to the local courthouse.

What You’ll Do

• Manage client matters from intake through resolution
• Negotiate with creditors and opposing counsel
• Handle matters involving financial hardship, debt collection, and tenant rights
• Make occasional court appearances at the local courthouse
• Track cases in the firm’s Salesforce-based case management system
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff

What You Won’t Do

• No billable hour requirements
• No marketing or sales responsibilities
• No client chasing or fee generation
• No weekend or late-night work (standard 9-to-6 schedule)

Ideal Candidate

• Active Florida Bar license
• Lives in the Boca Raton area and can travel to the local courthouse when needed
• 1 to 2 years of litigation or negotiation experience
• Background in consumer law, financial services, or personal injury is a plus
• Empathetic, organized, and passionate about helping others
• Committed to a full-time role and available to start ASAP
