    Description

    Our client in Dallas Texas is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join a fast-paced, high-volume consumer bankruptcy practice. This is a highly client-facing position for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and can confidently manage cases, hearings, and frequent client meetings.

    The attorney will generally assume responsibility for matters around the signing phase and remain involved throughout the case. The practice operates on a flat fee model with no billable-hour requirement, allowing attorneys to focus on effectively managing their caseload and serving clients.


    Associate Attorney Role
    Manage a high-volume bankruptcy caseload from signing through completion
    Prepare for and attend bankruptcy hearings and related proceedings
    Conduct frequent and sometimes back-to-back client meetings
    Advise clients throughout the bankruptcy process and clearly communicate next steps
    Manage expectations and navigate challenging client conversations professionally
    Move efficiently between hearings, client meetings, case work, and competing priorities
    Maintain accurate case management and consistent follow-through
    Collaborate with intake and support staff as matters transition to the attorney
    Ensure cases continue progressing in a timely and organized manner

    Associate Attorney Background Profile 
    Active Texas law license
    Bankruptcy experience required
    Experience independently managing a high-volume caseload
    Strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
    Comfortable working extensively with individual/consumer clients
    Ability to handle sensitive and sometimes difficult client situations
    Strong organizational and time-management skills
    Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy or follow-through
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment
