A highly respected, full-service law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of experience to join its Ames, Iowa office. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in representing clients in a wide variety of legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and court appearances, as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys across multiple practice groups and offices.
- Build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional legal service.
- Participate in business development, networking, and community involvement opportunities.
- Continue developing substantive legal knowledge and practice-specific expertise.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Iowa Bar license, or ability to obtain admission.
- 1–3 years of litigation or transactional legal experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to grow professionally within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits
