    o Assist in departmental compliance efforts

    o Coordinate department academic affairs and monitoring processes

    o Coordinate the Senior Women''s Administrators efforts in promoting the affairs of the female- student athlete

    o Coordinate the departments Title IX efforts

    o Assist with departments game day operations

    Head Coaching Basic Functions:

    • Supervise, mentor, and instruct student-athletes participating in intercollegiate (Sport)
    • Development and implementation of practice plans
    • Recruit student athletes for the (Sport) in accordance with NCAA bylaws and consistent with departmental philosophies and goals.
    • Monitor the academic progress of the (Sport) student athletes.
    • Assist in coordination and oversight in pre-season conditioning and weight training programs.
    • Develop and monitor a comprehensive player development program designed to enhance player performance.
    • Schedule championship and non-championship contests
    • Assist in the development and monitoring of (Sport) budget.
    • Coordinate team travel
    • Develop and coordinate fundraising activities to assist in support of team operations.
    • Communicate and coordinate regarding essential function relative to the operation of (Sport) with Admissions, Student Services, Academic Advising, Athletic Training, Compliance, Facilities and Operations, Sports Information, Equipment Management, Alumni Relations and Advancement.
    • Represent the department and the institution at internal and external events;
    • Hire and oversee assistant coaches.
    • Maintain knowledge of all applicable NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules that impact the (Sport) program;
