Assoc Prin Network Engineer

This is a Network Engineer role based in Albany, NY, offering a long-term contract to perm opportunity with a pay rate of $65.00/hr on W2. The position is 100% onsite, covering Albany/Troy/Rensselaer areas, with standard hours plus on-call rotation every 4 weeks and incident response responsibilities.

• The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure including Cisco IOS, WiFi, SD-WAN, LAN/SDN, VPN, and security systems.
  
• Key duties include troubleshooting, monitoring performance, leading projects, ensuring network scalability, and collaborating with cybersecurity teams.
  
• Requires 6-8 years of experience or equivalent, with skills in configuring network devices, managing security, and improving network performance. Certifications like CCNA/CCNP and familiarity with ITIL and ITOM are preferred.
  
• Responsibilities also include ensuring network availability, security compliance, and supporting ongoing upgrades and performance enhancements.
