AssistantAssociate Professor of Management or Marketing Tenure-Track

St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in either Management or Marketing, beginning in Fall 2027. Appointment rank will be determined by qualifications and experience.

Located in the School of Business, this position will serve the College's business programs. We seek a generalist who can teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses within either Management or Marketing. Candidates should identify their field and the range of courses they are prepared to teach.

The College seeks a teacher-scholar committed to high-quality undergraduate education, curriculum development, and student mentorship. We welcome candidates who engage students in applied projects and connect classroom learning with current business practice.

Faculty responsibilities include a 24-credit annual teaching load, student advising, curriculum development and assessment, scholarship, and service to the School and College. The successful candidate will also contribute to student recruitment and retention and help support the continued development of the School's undergraduate and graduate programs.

Required qualifications

• An earned doctorate in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field by the start of the appointment, with doctoral preparation relevant to the field in which the candidate applies. ABD candidates will be considered if they provide evidence that the doctorate will be completed before the appointment begins.
• Ability to teach a broad range of undergraduate courses in the candidate's field, including introductory courses.
• Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching, student advising, and mentorship.
• Evidence of scholarly activity or potential for continued scholarship.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidates seeking appointment at the Associate Professor rank should demonstrate a record of teaching, scholarship, and service commensurate with that rank.

Preferred qualifications

• Demonstrated experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Relevant professional experience in a related field.
• Experience with experiential and student-centered learning, curriculum development, and/or academic program assessment.

The salary range for this position is $64,000-$80,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Additional professional development support is provided.
