Minimum Annual Salary $55,000 Salary Band: Coach Job Summary/Basic Function:
Assist the Head Coach in recruiting, building, and directing an athletic program at the Division I level.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Essential Functions and percent of time:
60%: Assist in teaching and coaching student-athletes in order to develop and acquire the extensive tactical, technical and physical knowledge that's required to be successful at the intercollegiate level and beyond.
15%: Assist with the coordination of coaching staff in talent assessment, recruiting, database management, letter system, writing schedule, official and unofficial campus visit, phone calls, summer league, high school and junior college games evaluations.
10%: Assist with the administration of the sport program including budget management, fundraising, summer camp administration, team travel arrangements, scheduling of competitions, and traveling with the team.
5%: Ensure the sport program, including all staff members and student-athletes, is in compliance with NCAA, Horizon League and University regulations which includes the monitoring of the student-athletes academic progress to maintain their academic eligibility.
5%: Working with athletic training and sports performance staff relative to the health and safety of the student-athletes.
5% Other duties as assigned.

Various hours of work are required due to practices and competition. Extensive travel due to competitions and recruiting.
