With operations supporting food manufacturers, commercial kitchens, industrial customers, and private label brands, this company has built a reputation for quality, operational excellence, and customer service.
The company is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to help lead warehouse operations, optimize inventory flow, and support a high-performing team in a fast-paced food/beverage manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys driving efficiency, developing employees, and supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in leading daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Supervise warehouse personnel while promoting accountability, productivity, and teamwork.
- Optimize warehouse workflows, inventory accuracy, and material movement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and quality standards.
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager to improve operational performance and meet customer demands.
- Coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, and Customer Service to ensure efficient operations.
- Support inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience in food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing,or food/beverage distribution.
- Experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and employee performance.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
