The AVP of Marketing, Homesense is a key member of a nimble, growth focused team responsible for shaping and executing a holistic marketing strategy that fuels both short- and long-term brand momentum. AVP leaders bring a strong understanding of business priorities, macro trends, and consumer insights, translating these inputs into clear business and brand strategies. They establish and champion a compelling brand vision, converting strategy into effective channel plans and creative briefs that inspire teams and align stakeholders, while fostering the innovative thinking needed to accelerate a rapidly growing business.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of HomeGoods and Homesense Marketing, this role oversees our digital properties (site and email), the full in-store environment—including seasonal signage—Grand Openings, aswellasouremergingHomeGoods/Homesensedual-brandapproach. The role partners closely with Store Operations, Store Design, Merchandising, Loyalty, and our corporatemarketingteams tocraft acohesivevisionandstrategy that clarifies Homesenseoffering.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • SetannualandongoingvisionandstrategyforCustomerExperienceteam, Grand Openings, in addition to the HomeGoods/Homesense dual marketing strategy.

  • CollaboratewiththeotherHomesenseAVP peeronongoingholisticbrandstrategyandvisionacrossall marketing channels.

  • Oversee quarterly/seasonal content development strategy and execution (digital and in-store)

  • Responsible for the development and execution of retail marketing plan; seasonal sign packages, merchandise department opportunities and field opportunities

  • Partner with TJX Loyalty team to understand and integrate opportunities to grow awareness and applications of TJX Rewards specific to Homesense.

  • Partner with Store Operations and Store Design to deliver new store prototypes vision & design

  • Key marketing liaison with the store operations and field, responsible for keeping them informed of marketing programs

  • In partnership with Planning and Store Operations, support Grand Opening and Relocations to drive awareness; deliver an excellent in-store experience; track performance and identify and socialize best practices

  • Collaborate with other HomeGoods and Corporate AVPs to ensure execution of dual approach across paid, earned, owned and in-store channels with accountability for investment decisions and outcome measurement.

  • Lead and develop a team of high performing associates – cultivating a culture in which each associate feels welcomed, valued and engaged; develop a talent pipeline to enable the future growth of the brand.

Minimum formaleducation:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Minimum experience required to perform this job:

  • 15+yearsbrandmarketingexperiencewithaspecificemphasisonbrandstrategy, customer experience via agency or client side

  • Direct experiencebuildingbrandstrategies and plans

  • Demonstratedexperienceoverseeinganddirectingintegratedcommunicationsplansand associated execution

  • Developed leadership skills along with proven experience managing multiple teams and multiple marketing functions

  • Strong track record of cross-functional executive partnership

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
