We're looking for an experienced Assistant Veterinary Office Manager to help lead and support the day-to-day operations of our busy veterinary hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong veterinary experience, enjoys client service and team leadership, and is ready to take the next step in their career

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Veterinary Office Manager, you'll help keep our hospital organized, efficient, and welcoming for both clients and team members. You'll work closely with the doctors, reception team, veterinary assistants, and hospital leadership to support daily workflow and identify opportunities to improve the client and patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional client service and helping create a positive veterinary experience.
• Helping lead and organize front-desk operations and daily workflow.
• Supporting, coaching, and providing guidance to reception and veterinary support staff.
• Assisting with staff education, training, and communication.
• Supporting scheduling, hospital paperwork, administrative projects, and other office needs.
• Coordinating ultrasound scheduling, communication, and medical recordkeeping.
• Assisting doctors and hospital leadership with administrative and operational needs.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and make the veterinary hospital more efficient.
• Helping address client concerns and supporting the team with challenging situations.
• Serving as a dependable resource for the team and helping foster a positive, professional, collaborative culture.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an Assistant Veterinary Office Manager who is organized, proactive, confident, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

• 5+ years of veterinary experience preferred, with at least 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

• Previous management or supervisory experience required.

• Strong client service and communication skills.

• Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through.

• Comfortable leading, coaching, and supporting team members.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing needs in a busy veterinary hospital.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.

• Comfortable working closely with doctors, hospital leadership, receptionists, and veterinary support staff.

• A genuine commitment to providing an exceptional client and veterinary patient experience.

Pay Range: $23-$28/hr depending on experience
