Position Details

Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach

• Coaching experience preferred
• M.H.S.A.A. rules meeting must be completed
• AED/CPR certification required
• Background Check Required
• Organize meaningful training sessions
• Ability to implement the expectations and demands of high school athletes
• Be able to teach the fundamentals of wrestling
• Prepare the team for competition
• Communicate with players, parents, media, school staff, etc.
• Organize and maintain individual/team statistics
• First-time coach must complete CAP training per M.H.S.A.A. guidelines

Demonstrate a working knowledge of wrestling and provide a positive role model for our student-athletes. Establish effective communication with athletes. Supervise bus and locker room situations. Assist in enforcing all team rules and regulations.
