    STARTING DATE: Negotiable - preferred start date prior to January 1

    REPORTS TO: Treasurer/CFO

    WORK YEAR: 12-month

    SALARY RANGE: Appropriate step on Salary Schedule - commensurate with experience and education

    QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
    • At least five years' work experience in governmental accounting/auditing procedures and automated data processing system preferred.
    • Work experience using PowerSchool eFinancePlus preferred but not required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, specifically high competency in Excel and Word; demonstrates proficiency using equipment and software applications associated with the position.
    • Demonstrates dependability/flexibility. Reacts to interruptions/emerging priorities effectively.
    • Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.
    • Experience in processing employee payroll and related reporting preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of employment and HR practices.
    • Exhibits consistent, impartial and resourceful critical-thinking skills.
    • Interacts comfortably/confidently with staff.
    • Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
    • Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
    • Meets all prerequisite qualifications to be bonded.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Maintain complete and accurate records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
    • Work under the guidelines of Penta's Mission Statement and Goals.
    • General office duties including, but not limited to answering phones, record keeping, and filing principles/procedures.
    • Must be willing to be cross trained in other departments as required.
    • Work collaboratively and effectively with Penta administration, staff and member-school personnel.
    • Remain free of any non-prescribed controlled substance or alcohol abuse in the workplace throughout employment in the district.
    • Assume any other responsibilities as assigned by the Board of Education, Superintendent, Treasurer Director, Supervisor, or designee(s).
