Assistant Track Coach

Oconto High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Track Coach to support our high school track and field program. This role will work closely with the head coach to develop student-athletes, foster a positive team culture, and contribute to the program''s overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices, meets, and training sessions.
• Provide instruction in various track and field events.
• Motivate and mentor student-athletes to develop their skills, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all athletes.
• Support athletes in setting and achieving their performance goals.
• Monitor and enforce team rules, academic standards, and school policies.
• Travel with the team to competitions and assist in meet-day logistics.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
