Assistant Toddler Teacher – Tiny Town Early Learning Centers


Tiny Town is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Toddler Teacher to support our toddler classrooms. We’re looking for someone who understands the fast pace of toddler life and can help create a warm, structured, and developmentally supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with daily routines, transitions, and classroom management
  
  
• Support toddlers in developing independence, communication, and self‑help skills
  
  
• Model and encourage positive social‑emotional behaviors
  
  
• Help implement age‑appropriate activities that promote exploration and learning
  
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
  
  
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
  
  
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
  
  
• Observe and support individual child needs under the guidance of the lead teacher
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of toddler development, behavior, and age‑appropriate expectations
  
  
• Ability to stay calm, patient, and consistent in a busy, high‑energy classroom
  
  
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to follow classroom systems
  
  
• Reliable attendance, time management, and communication
  
  
• Ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
  
  
• Experience in childcare or early education preferred, but not required
  
  
• Flexibility and a positive, upbeat attitude
