Job Summary:
The Assistant - Terminal will provide admin support to the operations personal as well as terminal leadership. This schedule will vary depending upon the business needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and distribute reports as directed by center leadership.
- Proactively updating TMW with notes on all notifications received from Extended Services.
- Freight tracking multiple times daily.
- Reviewing and assisting with compliance events coming due.
- Compile safety reports and documentation for the DOS team.
- As needed, answering phones and responding to general driver questions.
- Paperwork rescanning, and responding to missing paperwork emails from billing.
- Provide back up for DOS as needed.

Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with DOT Requirements, CSA expectations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to travel multiple times per year as needed for training and career development purposes
- Highly proficient computer skills must be comfortable using a computer and various software programs.
Education and Experience:
- 2+ year's truck transportation industry experience.
Additional Job Information
Regulatory Responsibility/Impact
- Work with the maintenance team on a daily basis to ensure all tractors are in a high level of repair and in full compliance to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all QC compliance standards.
- Ensure all monthly on-line safety training is completed and work with drivers and safety to assign other needed refreshers as driver performance dictates.
- Verify all tractor profiles are accurate including both presence and working condition of equipped accessories.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
Travel Requirements: <15%
