Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our boys' tennis program as the Head Coach. This full-time position involves overseeing all aspects of the tennis program, including player development, team management, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tennis coaching, a commitment to fostering a positive team culture, and the ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
Requirements
- Must have a valid substitute certificate or NJ Teaching Certificate
- Proven experience coaching tennis at the high school level or higher.
- Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules of play.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with student-athletes, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate practice and competition schedules.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and respectful team culture.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with school district policies.
