Assistant Technical Applications Manager

This role is with a seasoned manufacturer renowned for their innovative solutions in the realms of industrial gas detection, automation, and safety systems. With a robust history in handling complex industrial applications, the organization is seeking an adept leader who can blend engineering with hands-on problem-solving and customer interface.

The candidate will assume a pivotal position coordinating with clients and internal departments from initial project evaluation through system design, implementation, and ongoing support. This role involves contributing to product development by collaborating with engineering teams on testing and enhancement based on client feedback. A mix of office-based and onsite responsibilities will allow you to directly see the impact of your engineered solutions in live environments.

Key responsibilities include crafting bespoke technical solutions tailored to client challenges, managing projects through to completion, and serving as the primary technical resource. Collaboration across departments to generate proposals, conduct product testing, and facilitate customer training and support is crucial. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols is highly valued.

Our ideal candidate brings over a decade of experience and a relevant degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. They will have a strong grasp of industrial communication systems, controls, and hands-on problem-solving in varied and sometimes challenging environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for effective demonstrations, mentoring, and technical support.
