Assistant Team Lead for a Luxury Sun Spa

Soleil Tans is hiring a part-time Assistant Team Lead at our luxury sun spa in Matawan, New Jersey.

This is where leadership starts at Soleil. You support the Team Lead to keep daily operations running smoothly, hit sales goals, and uphold our core values. When the Team Lead is not there, you lead the shift. You also carry your own sales goals and coach the team to perform at a high level.

What you'll do

• Make sure every guest interaction lives up to our brand promise: "Love your experience, or let us know, we will make it right."
• Meet and beat your own sales goals for memberships, products, and upgrades. Help the Team Lead track and drive shift sales.
• Lead the shift when the Team Lead is out. Give the team guidance, feedback, and accountability.
• Help onboard and train new hires.
• Run daily operations: equipment checks, sanitization, store readiness, and opening and closing.
• Enforce Soleil policies and store standards, and escalate guest or operational issues when needed.

What you bring

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of leadership or sales experience in a similar setting.
• A track record of sales success, including closing memberships and upselling products. 
• Reliability and organization. You can handle shift-level leadership.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Initiative. You act without being asked and consistently meet or beat expectations.
• Weekend and evening availability.

Pay and perks

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
• $20.00 per hour within one year after you complete training
• Sales bonus: $1 to $4 per hour
• Tips average $100 per month
• Total earning potential: $20 to $24+ per hour
