Summary of Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and maintains correct teacher-to-child ratios.
• Assists with teaching the developmentally appropriate education curriculum.
• Ensures childrens safety and needs by maintaining a clean classroom.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 6 months of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

CDA Early Childhood Credential, and one year of experience.

Availability Requirements:

Must be available to work a consistent weekly schedule during one of the following shifts:

• Morning Shift: 7:15 am - 1:00 pm.
• Afternoon Shift: 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

Applicants must be able to commit to a regular schedule of 2-5 weekdays per week (for example, Tuesday/Thursday, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or Monday-Thursday) and maintain the same schedule throughout the semester. Some flexibility in start and end times may be available based on program needs.

• Ability to follow oral and written procedures and instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to keeping the assigned schedule.

Abilities

• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.

• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certification.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check through the Utah Department of Health.
